Who is ICON?

Six specialised institutes came together to form the ICON-INSTITUTE GmbH & Co. KG Consulting Gruppe in early 2001. This holding is the sole owner of all the ICON-INSTITUTES. The company's shares may only be owned by employees of the member institutes.

The most important functions of the holding are: provision of full financial back up regulated by a contract for mutual assumption of profit and loss; and certain agreed central services. The managing directors of all institutes are members of the Board of Directors, which is responsible for developing overall strategy for the company as a whole.

The holding is headed by Walter Stephany, Rainer Stoff and Barbara Wirth-Bauer, commercial director.
