ICON-INSTITUT Informationssysteme GmbH

The original ICON-INSTITUT was already involved in the first computer development projects at the end of the 1970s: this involvement started with computerisation of institutions through to user training and development of databases. These projects established the basis for the current specialised institute. In the age of IT and system networks the ICON-INSTITUTES have delivered a significant contribution to a number of complex projects by designing and installing database components for users in education and labour market administration as well as networks for statistical offices. At the same time ICON has developed databases for internal use which allow multilingual full-text searches.

This ICON-INSTITUT can offer expertise and services independently thanks to its well established relationship with the Computer Centre of the University of Ulm.
