The assignment undertakes an Institutional Functional Review of the Ministry of Labour. The Review takes the form of a gap analysis, comparing the current institutional situation in Jordan with best practice in the EU and internationally as regards the institutional structures needed for effective implementation of all important areas of employment policy. It specifically takes account of the institutional requirements for the development and implementation of Jordan’s Employment Policy and Capacity Building Strategy for the Ministry of Labour. |
