Our Experience

ICON implemented its first computer development project in the late 1970s, followed in the 1980s/ 90s by a Database on Postgraduate Training in the EU, distributed worldwide not only on floppy discs but also catalogue form.

In the age of IT and system networks, we have delivered a significant contribution to a number of complex projects by designing and installing database components for users in education and labour market administration as well as networks for statistical offices. In addition, we have developed an ERP (enterprise resource system), a recruitment database and other MIS for internal and project use.

ICOn was the lead company of the implementation of the educational MIS at HIBA University in Damascus and has implemented a Higher Education Management Information System in five public universities in Syria and the Ministry of Higher Education.

ICONhas a longstanding and well established relationship with the Computer Centre of the University of Ulm giving us direct access to research and scientific knowledge and resources.
